Upholstered, sloping vertical wings extend forward from either side of the back. The front edges of the wings are faced with mahogany with satinwood inlay. Short arms curve downward from the tops of the wings to meet arm supports that are continuous with the front legs. The seat is upholstered over the rail. The vase-shaped arm supports are reeded and flanked with ring turnings above rectangular corner posts. The fronts of the corner posts are inlaid with satinwood. Below the corner posts, the legs are turned with the reverse of the arm support pattern. Two additional front legs have the same design.
