The yoke-shaped crest rail meets the stiles in a bridle joint, visible through tears in the upholstery. The remainder of the structure of the back and seat cannot be determined due to upholstery. The trapezoidal seat has curved front corners and contains springs. Two front cabriole legs terminate in pad feet. The chair has two rear stump legs. Side, rear, and front turned stretchers are mortise-and-tenoned into the legs. The interior surface of the front right leg shows evidence of repair. Each foot is fitted with a castor.
