The molded crest rail is serpentine and foliate-carved. The molded stiles curve to a point at the bottom of the chair back, where there is an inlaid fan. Between the stiles are three vertical slats carved with tassel-like decoration of foliage and sheaves of wheat and marquetry sunbursts. Curved, bead-molded rear stiles support the chair back. The seat fabric is secured with upholstery tacks. The inlaid front legs are therm. The rear legs are stump, canted backward.
