The upper case has two side-by-side drawers over three graduated, full-width drawers. The lower case has a single row of three drawers aligned along their top edges. The center drawer is shorter and wider than the flanking drawers. The front skirt is shaped in three arches. Ovigal arches are cut into the side skirts. Six thin trumpet-and-cup turned legs support the case; there are four legs at the front and two at the back. Each leg terminates in a compressed ball foot with a thick pad. Flat box stretchers are set between the legs and the feet. The front stretcher is cut in three arches. The side stretchers are cut in double ogee curves. The rear stretcher is straight.  The case is japanned. The drawer fronts are decorated with animal and human figures. The skirt of the lower case is decorated with foliate motifs.
