The tabletop is rectangular with rounded corners when fully open. The fixed tabletop is made of a single, rectangular board. The fixed leaf is flanked by two rectangular hinged leaves, each made of one board with rounded exterior corners. The hinges on the right leaf appear to have been moved or replaced. Interlocking cove moldings are present on the long sides of the leaves and tabletop where the components meet, forming a rule joint. One leaf support can be extended on either side of the table frame. Each support utilizes a knuckle hinge and peg to swivel outward, and a groove is carved into each one on the interior edge to serve as a handle. On the left side, an additional curved piece of wood has been added on the underside of the leaf to meet the leaf support. The top has overhanging edges at the front and back where it meets the frame. The frame has false drawer fronts with lion face knobs on both short sides. Both false drawer fronts are faced with horizontal veneer surrounded by contrasting banding. The frame is rectangular and constructed with mortise and tenon joints. It is attached to the tabletop with screws in pockets. The leaf supports are cut-out portions of a separate rail that has been affixed to the table frame on either side. The tabletop is mortise and tenoned to the pedestal block and secured with long glue blocks around the block. The pedestal is turned into a large urn shape decorated with incised lines and terminating in a spool. The bottom edge of the pedestal is decorated with a notched carving that continues onto the legs. The table has four sabre legs attached to the pedestal with sliding dovetails secured with brackets that extend all the way down the legs. Two of the legs have been broken and repaired with original wood.
