The table-top has a hinged leaf that folds to rest on the fixed leaf atop a shallow the case with concave side. The edges of the table leaves are bead-molded. The lyre-shaping of the pedestal is embellished by acanthus leaf design, terminating in ormolu rosettes. The pedestal is fixed to a platform with s-curved edges.
