The cupid's bow crest rail has a center arch flanked with ogee curves and pointed ears, carved to simulate backward curving continuous with the rear stiles. The rear stiles have flat front surfaces and taper toward the crest rail. A pierced splat is set between the crest rail and the shoe. The trapezoidal seat is upholstered over the rail. The front cabriole legs terminate in pad feet.
