The interior has a bottom row of two straight drawers; above this, at center, are two drawers with an inset carved panel topped with a carved fan, flanked by vertical document drawers with turned half columns with ball finials, which are flanked by two pigeonholes with scrolled valances and serpentine dividers over a drawer with a blocked front, all of which is flanked by two sets of two stacked drawers with inset carved panels topped with carved fans. All interior drawers have round metal knobs; the drawer bottoms are rabbeted on all sides. The case is blocked in three distinct sections with rounded top corners; the inset center section tapers at the bottom to form a continuous line with the skirt pendant. The four graduated drawers have urn-shaped escutcheons and bail pulls; the drawer bottoms are nailed to the backs. Cock-bead molding on the case borders the drawer openings. The skirt is formed of complex molding, with a carved center pendant and scrolled knee brackets.
