Reeded panels extend down from the upper terminus of the arm support along the front edge of the upholstered arm to meet the seat frame. Four square rear legs have a slight backward rake. The four front legs are turned, reeded and tapered. The left and right front legs each have an inset panel of figured birch veneer and are continuous with the arm supports.
