The piece consists of two sections: a lower case and a small upper case.  Surmounting the top of the chest of drawers is a curved backboard with scrolled corners. The top case has two horizontally aligned drawers. The top board of the upper case overhangs and conforms to the ovolo corners. There are ring-and-ball turned colonettes at the front corners of the upper case. The drawers have beaded edges. Each drawer has a keyhole flanked by brass knobs.  The lower case holds four drawers of equal height and width. Each drawer has beaded edges, a keyhole, and two brass knobs. At the bottom of the case is an ogee apron. The decorative front stiles of the case extend in front of the drawers. The stiles turned with urns, twist turning and, above the terminals, reel-and-ball and upside-down-urn turnings.
