(61.3 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Walnut desk-and-bookcase made of walnut and white pine secondary wood.  Surmounting the upper case is a double-arched, molded pediment with three flame-and-urn finials. The doors of the upper case are ogee-arched and molded, fitted with locks. Below the doors are two knobbed candle slides. On the back of the fall-front lid is a single escutcheon with a bail pull and keyhole and a rack for a writing utensil. The lower case holds four layers of drawers; the top layer is a single drawer between knobbed lopers. The second layer consists of two drawers side-by-side. The last two layers of drawers are graduated and singular. All of the drawers have molded edges and are fitted with escutcheons, all of them with keyholes and some also with bail pulls. Decorative molding trims the base. The feet are carved bun.
