(58.4 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Chippendale-style, blockfront desk-and-bookcase made of mahogany primary wood and pine secondary wood.  Surmounting the upper case is a molded bonnet top with three urn-and-flame finials on plinths. The doors are scrolled and molded, paneled and fitted with shaped escutcheons and keyholes. The doors are flanked by fluted pilasters. Behind the doors are pigeonholes with ogee valances, shelves, vertical slots, and knobbed drawers. Below are knobbed pull-out candles shelves. Atop the lower case is a fall-front lid with a shaped escutcheon and keyhole. Behind the lid is a central prospect door with an escutcheon and keyhole with pilasters flanked by two sets of four pigeonholes with ogee valances over two knobbed drawers; below are three knobbed drawers. The lower case holds four graduated drawers with molded edges, shaped escutcheons, keyholes, and bail pulls. Around the base is decorative molding.
