Rectangular, vasiform splat back that is curved for comfort. Yoke-back crest rail with curved shoulders that are mortise and tenoned to the rear stiles. The vasiform splat sits on a molded slat that is raised from the seat and mortise and tenoned to the sides of the rear stiles. Molding on the face of the rear stiles extends from the side of the yoke-back crest rail. The rear stiles are joined to the seat rail and continuous with the back legs. The trapezoidal slip seat is constructed with mortise and tenon joints. There are glue blocks in corners and a decorative molding on the top of the seat rails. The rush seat has mahogany strips over the pine frame. The lower edge of the front seat rail has a serpentine curve. Squared, cabriole, front legs terminate in a variation of a trifid foot with an extending, triangular front. The squared back legs have chamfered edges above the stretchers and are racked back below the stretchers. Baluster-turned stretchers are assembled in an H-shape with the addition of a rear stretcher. The stretchers are attached with mortise and tenon joints and reinforced with screws in places.    There is a split in the rear, left leg. Reinforcement of a strip of wood, which is screwed to the back stretcher and front of the seat rail. Missing front left glue block.
