Urn and corkscrew finials are mounted on top of rectangular plinths at the front corners and on a shaped plinth that extends from the center front of the pediment. The upper case has a top center drawer with a carved rococo-style shell decoration set into a concave semicircle flush along the bottom edge of the drawer front and a small brass ring pull. Narrow drawers flank the center drawer. There are four graduated drawers below. The lower case consists of a single wide drawer above three side-by-side drawers. The lower, center drawer is wider than the flanking drawers and has the same carving and pull as the drawer on the upper case. The front of the case skirt has concave blocking at the center, below the shell. The front of the skirt is cut in three notched, flattened arches the placement of which follows the placement of the lower drawers. Turned teardrop-shaped drop finials extend from the lower sections of the skirt. The sides of the skirt are each cut in a single notched, flattened arch. The case has cabriole legs that terminate in claw-and-ball feet. All of the drawer openings have bead molding along the edges. All of the full-width drawers have a shaped brass escutcheon and two bail pulls with back plates that match the escutcheons. The narrow drawers each have a single bail pull, with the exception of the shell-carved drawers."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"7/20/2018"},{"label":"Materials","value":"Mahogany"},{"label":"Style","value":["Chippendale"]},{"label":"Basis of Date","value":"Dated by DAPC staff, 1966."},{"label":"Date (EDTF)","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1770 - D:00 M:00 Y:1780"},{"label":"Basis of Origin","value":"Frothingham worked in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
