The upholstered arms are serpentine with scrolls and carving at the upper and lower terminals. The seat is upholstered and has a full-width cushion and bolsters. The front seat rail is veneered with inlaid panels at the center and at either end. The sofa has four identical, short legs, each with ring turnings at top and bottom and a tapering, reeded section at the center.
