The rectangular looking glass is surrounded by a thin, gilded inner frame and a wider outer frame with multiple rows of bead molding. A gilded, carved bird or phoenix is set within the intricately shaped crest. The base and side brackets are shaped with scrolls, s- and c-curves, and spurs.
