(51.8 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Upholstered, Queen Anne backstool made of black walnut. The fully upholstered back is rectangular with an oxbow curve at the crest and curved shoulders. The compass slip seat has replaced upholstery. The cabriole front legs terminate in pad feet. The back legs are square with a chamfer above the stretchers. The legs are attached to the seat with pinned mortise and tenon joints. The legs are reinforced with baluster-turned stretchers. Side stretchers and a medial stretcher are assembled in an H-shape.
