Slat-back with vertical banister construction and central upholstered panel. The rectangular back is curved for comfort. Curved, serpentine crest rail and curved shoulders. Molding on the rear stiles and crest rail. Replaced, over-the-rail upholstery and upholstery foundations. Double row on back and seat edges of round headed, decorative upholstery tacks. Trapezoidal seat constructed with mortise and tenon joints. Rear stiles are continuous with the back legs. Back legs are a slightly rounded square shape. Front legs are turned, baluster legs. Box stretcher construction with squared side and back stretchers. Baluster-turned front stretcher. All stretchers attached with pinned mortise and tenon joints. Dark black/brown paint on the seat rails and legs, which appears green under black light. A hole in the seat under covering allowed catalogers to see the only the left side of the seat rail.
