The pedestal has a vase-shaped profile with intricate leaf carvings at the swelling and gadrooning at the base. Acanthus leaf carvings and volutes decorate the upper portion of the legs, which are separated by serpentine sections of skirt. The brass terminals are a combination of leaf and paw design.
