The top of the case is composed of a single board built into the wall without a clear attachment method. The case top culminates in multiple layers of built up integral and nailed molding with profiles proceeding from half-round to beading to cove to vertical grooves to cove and bead. The case has three sections: an upper interior with doors, a central interior with doors, and a lower case with drawers and doors below. The case sides are composed of one board in the top two sections and two boards in the lower two sections. The case back may be composed of four to eight boards, with single boards behind each door. All of the interior boards are painted with a false wood grain. The case bottom is formed by the floor boards of the room within which it is constructed. The front bottom edge of the case is decorated with a bead molding.    The top section of the case has four squat panel framed doors with square and trapezoidal glass lights arranged in a diamond form. The recessed panels and individual lights are surrounded with double bead mullions. The doors are attached to the case with hinges. There were once knobs and locks on each door, but they appear to have been removed. The two central doors form a single interior while the two outer doors form secondary interiors. Each interior has two height adjustable shelf fitted into saw-tooth slats attached and carved in the vertical dividers and case sides. Each shelf is faced with triple bead molding. Below the doors is a half-round and bead molding.    The center section of the case has four tall panel framed doors with square and trapezoidal glass lights arranged in a diamond form--an elongated version of the upper squat doors. The recessed panels and individual lights are surrounded with double bead mullions. The doors are attached to the case with hinges, and they have locks and keyhole surrounds. The two central doors form a single interior while the two outer doors form secondary interiors. Each interior has three height adjustable shelf fitted into saw-tooth slats attached and carved in the vertical dividers and case sides. Each shelf is faced with triple bead molding.    The lower half of the case houses three adjacent drawers, the center drawer being wider than the two side drawers. The drawers are faced with horizontal veneer and have replaced brass knobs and escutcheons. The drawer sides are full height and constructed with dovetails secured with nails. The drawer bottoms one board with grain running from side to side and dramatic chamfering at the front and sides where they are let into grooves. The drawer bottoms are nailed to the underside of the drawer backs. The back and side of the left most drawer are cut out at the upper left corner. The drawers rest on runners which are attached to the sides and vertical dividers with nails and mortise and tenoned to the front rails. The rail and divider attachment is unknown.    The bottom of the case has four doors. As with the other case components, the two central drawers form one interior while the side doors form secondary interiors. The door fronts are solid and panel framed with integral double bead molding surrounding the interior face of the recessed central panel. The doors have locks and replaced knobs. The left and right interiors have a single fixed shelf set into a groove at the side and faced with triple bead molding. Grooves are carved into the fronts of each shelf to accommodate the locks.
