The lid lifts upwards; the writing surface pulls out from the front of the case. Below the writing slide, the case is blocked in three distinct sections with rounded top corners. The three graduated drawers have bail pulls and proportionally large escutcheons in the shape known as pine tree; cock-bead molding borders the case openings. Ogee molding forms the top of a narrow skirt with a central astragal-shaped pendant, scrolled knee brackets, and straight bracket feet. The desk is in its original state, per Queen Anne Cottage Antiques."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"7/20/2018"},{"label":"Materials","value":"Unidentified wood; Unidentified metal"},{"label":"Style","value":["Chippendale"]},{"label":"Basis of Date","value":"Date range based on characteristics of design and construction and alleged history of desk."},{"label":"Date (EDTF)","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1755 - D:00 M:00 Y:1775"},{"label":"Basis of Origin","value":"Place of origin identified by DAPC staff, 1966.
