The clock is crowned by a broken, scrolled pediment with a central brass finial mounted to a plinth. Beveled molding lines the front and side edges at the top of the clock. The body of the clock is one rectangular component with a hinged door. A circular window at the top of the door reveals the clock face with winding hole, which keeps time with a minute and a hour hands. A second circular window at the bottom displays the pendulum.
