The chair has a curved tablet as a crest rail. The thumbnail rear stiles extend above the tablet and are tenoned through the seat. Four spindles set between the tablet and the seat taper from bottom to top and curve back slightly. The seat is saddle-shaped and made from a single board. The chair has four spindle-turned legs that are not tenoned through the seat. Four box stretchers support the legs. The chair is painted white.
