Case top is structurally integral to the case and made of three boards. It is attached with a rabbet joint and nailed to the sides. There is an integral cove molding on the sides and front. The case molding has four graduated drawers that are outlined in an applied bead molding. The drawers have the blockfront shape. The drawer sides are not full height and have a rounded edge. Each drawer has applied running strips. All drawer bottoms are split. The drawer bottoms are nailed to the sides and back. There are also reinforcing glue blocks on all the drawers. All drawers rest on original runners with the bottom drawer resting on the case bottom. The case sides are made of two boards each with squared front edges. The case back is made of two boards connected by a half-lap joint. The back is then attached to the case with a rabbet joint and nailed to the sides and the bottom. The case bottom is made with one board that is split partway across and attached to the sides with mortise and tenon joints. There are glue blocks on the underside of the case bottom. An applied, cove molding is nailed to the bottom in addition attaching with a large dovetail in the front. Four, straight bracket feet are integral to the base molding and mortise and tenoned to the case bottom. There is damage to the front left section of the top. There are patches on the left side of the base molding.
