Rectangles of veneer create four fields across the front of the crest rail. The fronts of the rear stiles and arms are reeded. Serpentine arms extend from just below the crest rail and terminate in scrolls at the level of the seat. The front seat rail is reeded. The settee has two front sabre legs with reeding on the front surfaces and two rear stump legs.
