The lower chase has a single short, full-width drawer over three side-by-side drawers. The center drawer has an arched recess. The front skirt is shaped in three flattened arches. Four cabriole legs support the lower case. Each leg terminates in a pad foot. Each full-width drawer has two bail handles and an escutcheon. The flanking narrow drawers each have a single bail handle. There is a knob in the center of the arched recess of the center drawer.
