(35.6 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Eastlake-style hall looking glass and pedestal. Finials surmount the upper corners of the looking glass frame. The vertical elements of the frame are veneered in burl maple and decorated with gold-painted, abstract foliate motifs. There are scroll carvings at the top and bottom of each side element. The upper edge of the glass is shaped in a stepped, flattened arch and outlined in applied molding.  The looking glass frame rests on a marble-topped trapezoidal pedestal. Below the marble top, the apron is decorated in a manner similar to the vertical elements of the looking glass frame. Two turned, urn-shaped legs support the front edge of the apron.
