The backboard is dovetailed. The case has one long drawer over a row of three drawers, with cock-bead molding around the drawer openings. The long drawer has two bail pulls on escutcheons and a matching keyhole surround. The outer lower drawers each have a bail pull on an escutcheon. The central lower drawer is inset blocked with a carved fan at the top of the blocking; a ring pull on a small round escutcheon is located at the center base of the fan. The skirt is flat arched and has turned acorn pendants on plinths with cock-bead molding at the bottom. The cabriole legs are removable and have serpentine knee brackets, creased knees, and pad feet. According to John S.
