The case has a row of two drawers above a row of three drawers, with cock-bead molding around the drawer openings. The upper drawers and the outer lower drawers each have herringbone banding around the edges and a bail pull on an engraved escutcheon. The central lower drawer is inset blocked with an arched top to the blocking and has herringbone banding around the drawer edges. The blocked portion is gilded, over which is painted a shell; a round metal knob is located at the base of the shell. The side skirts are serpentine arched; the front skirt is serpentine arched with flat tops and has two turned acorn pendants. The entire skirt is edged with cock-bead molding.
