Elongated oval tablet crest rail followed by one slat. Mahogany veneer in relief on the tablet and slat. Rectangular back is curved for comfort. Rear stiles are joined to the seat rail and continuous with the back legs. Four sabre legs attach to the seat rail with mortise and tenon joints. Trapezoidal seat, likely constructed with mortise and tenon joints. Replaced upholstery and upholstery foundations. The seat is secured and it is difficult to determine seat construction with certainty. Mortise and tenon joints on the front and back right seat rail are separating. Right front leg has wood loss/tear out on the inside corner. Right knee is damaged.
