The table top consists of one fixed and one hinged leaf; when open, they form a circular top. The lower edge of the fixed leaf is coved. The top overhangs the apron, which conforms to the profile of the top. The table's four legs divide the front of the apron into three sections, each of which is veneered in figured wood, outlined with light wood stringing with inverted corners, and inlaid with crossed light wood branches with light and dark wood leaves. The lower edge of the apron is outlined with banding of alternating light and dark wood rhombuses; the banding continues across the fronts of the legs, which project slightly from the plane of the apron. Above the banding, the top of each leg is inlaid with four light and dark wood petals in a cross shape. Below the banding, each of the four therm legs is outlined with light wood stringing along the front vertical edges."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"10/31/2018"},{"label":"Basis of Materials","value":"Mahogany identified as the primary wood according to Historic New England (1982)."},{"label":"Materials","value":"Mahogany; Unidentified wood"},{"label":"Style","value":["Federal"]},{"label":"Basis of Date","value":"Date range assigned by Historic New England (2018)."},{"label":"Date (EDTF)","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1790 - D:00 M:00 Y:1805"},{"label":"Basis of Origin","value":"Historic New England currently attributes the table to Massachusetts.
