The chair back curves slightly backward. The construction of the back and the rectangular seat cannot be determined due to the upholstery. The original upholstery has been replaced with blue velvet, now faded. Flat, serpentine-curved arm rests extend forward from the back. Cyma-curved arm supports join the undersides of the arm rests at the handholds. The front therm legs are outlined on the front surfaces with light wood string inlay. The chair has two rear stump legs.
