Moldings outline the case top and skirt. The case has four full-width, graduated drawers. Each drawer front has applied moldings that form two rectangular decorative panels. Each drawer has two drop pulls and a diamond-shaped escutcheon. The front of the case has two short rectangular feet with compressed ball feet below. The rear of the case has two taller rectangular feet. The chest is painted red with black trim; the color is old but not original.
