Circular top made of one fixed, rectangular, central board and two demilune-shaped leaves. The two leaves are attached to the central board with surface hinges. The central board is attached with screws and glue blocks. The screws are attached to a central beam that connects the two fixed legs. The fixed legs are attached with mortise and tenon joints to the top beam. Two gate legs or swing legs are attached with mortise and tenon joints to the center of the beam. The hinge mechanism is a dowel that connects the beam and the stretcher. The gate legs are notched to form a half lap joint with the beam. All legs have bulbous, baluster turnings as well as squared sections. The gate legs have baluster feet and the fixed legs have ogee arched feet attached to the legs with pinned mortise and tenon joints.
