The lid has quarter-round molded edges and a keyhole surround. The interior has a central prospect door with a concave blocked front topped by fan carving, flanked by dividers with cock-bead molding along the sides. The dividers are flanked by six pigeonholes with scrolled valances and dividers over two drawers with concave blocked fronts, all of which are flanked by a narrower divider with cock-bead molding; at the outside are two larger pigeonholes with scrolled valances over two drawers with concave blocked fronts. The interior drawers all have round metal knobs, and the bottoms are nailed into place. The case is blocked in three distinct sections ending with sharp corners at the top; cock-bead molding surrounds the drawer openings. The drawer dividers are visibly dovetailed into the front of the case. The four graduated drawers have bail pulls on escutcheons and matching mock keyhole surrounds; none of the drawers have actual keyholes. Ogee molding forms a narrow skirt. The straight bracket feet have scrolled knee brackets.
