The hinged table top overhangs the apron and conforms to the raised center surface and ovolo corners. The edges of the top have double-line inlay in light wood. The apron is veneered with a light wood veneer tablet, framed in decorative zig-zag banding, at the center. Where the front legs are attached to the apron are small rectangular tablets of light wood veneer framed in double-string inlay are at the top of the front legs. The bottom of the apron is trimmed with decorative banding of alternating dark and light wood triangles.
