The upper case consists of a cabinet with overhanging top and ogee molded edges; the same molding, flipped, appears around the edges of the case bottom. A hinged door on the cabinet front is framed with a recessed, arched center panel. The door is fitted with an elaborate keyhole surround on the left side. The door opens to reveal twelve drawers. At the center of the interior is a double-height drawer flanked on either side by two stacked drawers. Above are two full-width drawers over two side-by-side drawers; below are two side-by-side drawers over one full-width drawer. Each drawer has a single teardrop pull on a circular, floral-patterned post.  The lower frame has a rectangular apron fitted with a single drawer along the front. The drawer has two teardrop pulls that match those in the upper cabinet drawers. The frame has four trumpet and cup-turned legs with stylized vases, terminating in ball feet on disks.
