(53.3 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Marble-topped pier table with mirrored glass pane flanked by cabriole-shaped columns with scroll-leaf carving. The marble top rests on an open dovetailed frame. An additional support rail runs the width of the table and is tenoned to the frame. The sides of the frame have interior panels through which the front columns are tenoned. The frame has ogee, beaded and half-round moldings along the front and sides. The case back is a panel set into the base of the table, over which is a glass pane. Two vertical framed, mahogany-veneered boards flank the glass. The glass is in poor condition. The two carved free-standing cabriole columns support the front corners of the frame. They terminate in short rectangular plinths atop the base platform, which is rectangular with a concave central opening along the front. The base has chamfered edges which lead into straight sides and additional extended carved moldings.
