The upper case has a broken scroll pediment with three urn and flame finials and carved rosettes applied to the inner terminals of the scrolls. The case has three side-by-side drawers immediately under the pediment. The flanking drawers each have a single bail pull on a shaped back plate. The upper edges of the flanking drawers follow the profile of the pediment. The center drawer front has a recessed fan carving centered in the middle of the drawer; the carving does not extend to the lower edge of the drawer front. A single pull is mounted to the center lower edge of the carving. The upper case has four graduated full-width drawers, each of which has two bail pulls on shaped back plates and a central escutcheon with keyhole. Fluted pilasters flank the drawers of the upper case. The lower bomb?? case has four graduated drawers, each of which has two bail pulls on shaped back plates and a central escutcheon with keyhole. There is a center drop on the case skirt. The case has four ogee bracket feet. The back plates and escutcheons on the upper and lower cases appear to be identical."},{"label":"Date Digitized","value":"10/29/2018"},{"label":"Marks, Signatures, and Inscriptions","value":"Painted on base: [1896].
