The lid has molded edges and an original oval keyhole surround; the top left corner of the lid is broken. The interior has drawers and pigeonholes; the central drawer is probably a replacement. The oxbow case has cock-bead molding around the drawers; the four graduated drawers have their original oval keyhole surrounds and original bail pulls with oval escutcheons at each end. The left pull on the top drawer is missing. Cove-and-quarter-round molding forms a narrow skirt, with a scrolled central pendant. The shortened cabriole legs have scrolled knee brackets and claw-and-ball feet. The finish is old.
