The lower edge of the upholstered back lines up with the straight, upholstered arms. The back and rear stiles are caned back above the seat. The rectangular seat, back, and arms are upholstered in turkey work. The three front legs are connected with ball turned stretchers with a single ring turning at the center. A rectangular stretcher connects the two rear legs. There are ring turned side stretchers and a ring turned stretcher running from the center front leg to the rear stretcher.
