(45.1 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"Rectangular chest on frame with hinged lid, fielded panels, one drawer, double-vase turned legs, four vigorously turned stretchers, and vase-turned feet. The two-board lid with applied fillet and ogee moldings lifts to reveal an unfinished interior. The case front is divided into two sections. The upper section has moldings that form two octagonal, recessed panels. The lower section has a full-width drawer, the front of which is divided into two rectangular panels of the same width as the octagonal panels. There is a single drop pull in the center of each rectangular panel and a pierced escutcheon in the center. The escutcheon is cut to serve as a keyhole surround, but the drawer is not cut to fit a key. The case sides and back are paneled. The case rests on four short vase-and-block-turned legs that are continuous with the case stiles. The legs terminate in ball feet.
