The rectangular crest is slightly curved; it is veneered and molded and inlaid around the perimeter. The side stiles and curved arm rests are reeded. The arm rests slope and take on a c-curve, terminating in volutes. The back of the chair has a vase- and elongated-octagonal-shaped slat with a reeded rail below. The cushion is upholstered with a silk fabric. The front rail and the front legs, which are carved to look continuous with the side rails, are reeded.
