The top of the case does not lift up, but is fixed with a locking drawer, which is divided into numerous compartments. The bag is covered in an unspecified textile. Inside the front board is pasted a label, which reads: [RYNOR & SMITH, / Cabinet, Chair, & Sofa Manufacturers, / ..476.. / WASHINGTON STREET, / Nearly opposite Hollis street. / BOSTON]. The stiles are carved and shaped with volutes. The upper segment of the stiles feature centrally a cutout shape resembling a heart. The lower segment of the stiles begin with a flower-shaped volute and scroll downward. Each stile has two terminals, which are double-tiered scrolls.
