The chair back is raked back. The arched crest rail is pierced and carved with scrolls and plumes. The crest rail and a rectangular lower rail are mounted between two rear, baluster-turned stiles. Compressed-ball-and-urn finials surmount the stiles. A leather-upholstered back panel is mounted between the rails and outlined with a double line of upholstery tacks. The trapezoidal seat is upholstered over the rail with leather. A double line of upholstery tacks outline the front and side edges of the seat rails. The front baluster legs terminate in compressed ball feet. The rear legs are stump. The rear and side stretchers are rectangular.
