Surmounting the upper case is a rounded, broken-arch pediment with a central flame finial on a molded, cinched plinth. Behind molded tombstone doors is an arrangement of shelves, drawers, pigeonholes and file slots in the upper section. In the desk of the lower case are pigeonholes with ogee valances, drawers, and a central prospect door with a concave center between half-round turned pilasters. The fall-front lid rests on knobbed lopers. Three layers of drawers below the desk have bail pulls and escutcheons; the top layer is two drawers side-by-side. Around the base is ogee molding.
