The crest rail is serpentine and foliate-carved. The molded stiles curve to a point at the bottom of the chair back, where is a carved fan. Between the stiles are five vertical slats carved with tassel-like decoration of foliage and sheaves of wheat. Curved, bead-molded rear stiles support the chair back. A beige fabric covers the seat and is secured by upholstery tacks. The therm front legs have molding on their front surfaces. The rear legs are stump, canted backward.
