Surmounting the upper case is a molded broken-scroll pediment with urn-and-flame finials on plinths. The architrave is molded. The upper case has molded and paneled doors with escutcheons and keyholes flanked by carved and fluted pilasters, concealing arrangement of pigeonholes and shelves. The lower case has a desk with a blockfront hinged lid with a shaped escutcheon and a keyhole; behind the lid are pigeonholes and shelves and a central door with carved shell flanked by half-round turned pilasters with flame-and-urn finials. The interior of the lid has carved-out sections (conforming to the blockfront on the exterior surface of the lid). The lower case holds four blockfront graduated drawers with escutcheons with bail pulls and keyholes. Around the base is decorative molding.
