(45.1 cm)"},{"label":"Description","value":"A Queen Anne-style dressing table constructed of walnut and maple with pine secondary wood. The top has notched front corners and ogee molded edges. The case has curly maple sides and walnut front. One long drawer is situated above a row of three drawers. All the drawers have quarter-round molded edges; all the pulls and escutcheons are original. The long drawer has two bail pulls on escutcheons and a closely coordinating keyhole surround. The lower drawers each have a bail pull on an escutcheon. The central lower drawer is inset blocked with an arched top to the blocking. The skirt is flat arched with original turned acorn pendants on plinths with cock-bead molding at the bottom. The maple cabriole legs have arched knee brackets, creased knees, and pad feet.  The top is made of two boards attached to the sides by small pegs. The back is a single piece of pine pegged to the back posts. The sides are also pegged to the posts. The drawers are dovetailed at front and back; the bottom is nailed to the sides and back using small rectangular nails. The pendants are not turned at the back. The knee brackets are glued to the case.  The right front side knee bracket is missing.
