The chair back, wings, and seat are all padded and upholstered over the frame in a foliate-patterned fabric. The top of the back of the chair is serpentine, cresting at center and sloping downward to form pointed ears. The tops of the wings project slightly at the rounded top and then take an s-curve towards the arm rest. The arm rest cants outward. The seat and accompanying seat cushion are t-shaped to conform to the curves and shaping of the wings and chair back. H-form rectangular stretchers brace the four Marlborough legs.
